It is our mission to create one of the most beautiful fashion brands in the world, while caring for our environment we provide people around the world with the opportunity to lighten their footprint. The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world, while the industry also largely contributes to slave labor. Our goal is to raise awareness and provide a solution, rather than contribute to it. We do our best to innovate throughout the entire supply chain to be on the right path of being an eco-friendly brand.

What are our garments made off?

Sqorpios swimwear is made of regenerated nylon waste such as recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets that have been recovered from our oceans and recycled into swimwear.
The regeneration system starts with collecting waste from fishing nets, industrial plastic from landfills and oceans around the world. The waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover as much nylon as possible. Through a purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back into its original purity. The regenerated nylon is then processed into texitle yarn which is resistant to sunscreen, oils and chlorine. The fabric provides excellent coverage, perfect comfort and enhances your bodies natural shape.
What are the benefits?
The recycled fabric has many benefits for the Environment such as supporting climate change. It reduced the global warming impact of nylon by 80% compared with the material produced from oil. For every 10,000 tons of the fabric material, we are able to save 70,000 barrels of crude Oil and avoid 57,100 tons of CO2 emissions.
About the Owner
I have always had an affinity for fashion and new at a young age that I wanted to work in this industry. As I studied more about fashion at Fashion University in Barcelona, I became aware of the massive environmental impacts the fashion industry has made on our planet and it blew my mind. With this in mind I wanted to create a brand that solves the problem of pollution and labor conditions, rather than one that contributes to the problem. At the same time when I learned about the industry, I started to gain momentum on social media and quickly found myself in a conflicting situation. It was very conflicting for me to know what was going on behind the scenes of the fashion industry, while being a part of it. This gave me the inspiration and motivation to launch my own brand to inspire people to be forward thinking while being on trend. I want to spread awareness for a matter that I really support, creating an opportunity for my community to be fashionable while supporting the environment and labor conditions.
xx love Chiara
